The Intersect

Time for The Intersect to freak out about this week’s spoilers. Jace at Televisionary got a sneak peek at Chuck vs. Santa Claus, and while some of the events of the episode as reported have me super-excited, others have me gnawing my fingernails in concern.

[L]ook for someone to lose an appendage as the result of a gunshot, [...] and a bizarre love triangle to emerge among the staff of the Buy More.

Just who will lock lips during the hostage crisis? That would be telling, but there’s fallout aplenty from last week’s episode in which Morgan decided to spend his money on the General Lee rather than on an apartment with Anna. Hmmm…

Anyone who knows me, knows what triangle I’m asking Santa for (I’m fairly confident that it won’t happen — and it’s not the one that some of you are thinking — but I’m pulling for it regardless. I’m used to not getting what I want for Christmas) but right now I’m more concerned with the appendage-loss, because we’ve probably all seen the promo image of Casey nursing a gunshot wound to the foot by now. And, you know, I would think losing a foot would be kind of detrimental to his career, so I’m kind of hoping that the casualty is something silly, like Norman’s nose (notice how the “pillow fight” spoiler, my freak-out, and the consequent CPR-doll hilarity have taught me not to take spoilers quite so seriously?)
