The Intersect

This is not awesome.

Life continues to chew me up and spit me out, but this is something I could not be silent about. From Ausiello:

Chuck vs. the Delorean, character by character

I’m going to break this one down by my thoughts on the character, because I’ve got too much of a headache this evening to make much sense if I don’t take it in bite-sized pieces.
Chuck: YES. The way he was willing to tap out his savings to bail Morgan out, the way he put his [...]

So. Much. Love.

I have two complaints about Chuck vs. the Sensei: There was no Anna, and there wasn’t enough Lester. I understand that Julia Ling was probably busy working on a film, but I have it on good authority that Vik Sahay is ready and raring to go. For crying out loud, Chuck production team, he’s a [...]

Vik Sahay is a dirty, dirty tease.

I don’t know if maybe I’m just not reading enough into the dialogue (usually my problem is reading too much into it) but I was disappointed by the lack of the promised background on the Buy More Trio. I was expecting something, anything, about their family lives, but all we got was that poor Jeff’s [...]

Hope for Chuck yet?

This promo for next week’s episode contains a clip — while brief and out of context — that gives me hope that Chuck’s not really the moron we saw in Chuck vs. the Fat Lady.

Motorboat gag — dead in the water?

At some point in every gag’s life, there comes a point when it’s too much. Most are successfully executed without going too far, or at least not quite so far that the funny is left in the wake of the “what the hell were they thinking?”
Washing a potential contaminant off in a shower? Doesn’t have [...]

Possibly I need a new hobby.

Livejournal is down for maintenance. Twitter is down for maintenance. I have the day off and a shiny new episode of Chuck turning and churning in my head, and I, for one, would like to know who’s been spiking Chuck’s drinks with stupid pills.

Well, that was… interesting.

First, can I just say that it’s entirely too distracting to have a cast with such pretty eyes? I mean, let’s take a moment to appreciate a few sets of gorgeous, captivating eyes (belonging to gorgeous, captivating actors and gorgeous, captivating characters.)

Left to right, top before bottom, that’s Joshua Gomez, Vik Sahay, Zachary Levi, Julia [...]

It’s all about Vik.

Every Tuesday, after a new episode of Chuck, I have a rash of traffic driven here by searches for Vik Sahay. The reasons for this are many, but I think primarily it is because I usually end up gushing about his performance. And I’ll be honest, the only reason I didn’t this week was because [...]

I TAKE IT BACK.

I don’t know how it’s possible, but no matter how many doubts I have about an episode, no matter how sure I am that I’m going to hate it, Chuck delivers.
It delivers the hilarious funny, the edge-of-your-seat suspense, action, and awesome (not to mention Awesome.)
Every episode that I am certain I will dislike? Ends up [...]
